This workshops is designed to empower teachers at every level with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively use AI to enhance teaching and learning. We will focus on providing an introduction to generative AI while also sharing specific AI tools for teachers with practical applications across all subject areas. Examples will include AI tools to assist with lesson planning, rubric generation, feedback, and designing prompts and class materials. Teachers will have opportunity to try out practical AI tools and strategies with the guidance and support from NextGen Classroom instructors.
AI Lesson Design Workshops (Elementary, Secondary or Higher Education)
AI literacy is rapidly becoming one of the most essential sets of competencies that students need for future success. This workshops will introduce instructors to the theory and framework for creating AI-enhanced lessons. This practical, hands-on workshops, will engage educators in a design protocol that will help them creatively think through best practices and design AI-enhanced lessons specific to their discipline with innovative assessment techniques. Participants will be provided with resources and curriculum components, case studies, and lesson ideas to help effectively design these powerful learning experiences.
Integrating AI into the Humanities and Social Sciences Classrooms Workshops (Elementary, Secondary or Higher Education)
This workshops is designed to empower Science and Engineering teachers with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively integrate Artificial Intelligence into their Science classrooms. Participants will explore AI technologies, learn how to use AI tools to enhance instruction, and create innovative teaching strategies that harness the power of AI to improve student engagement, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

This workshops is designed to empower Science and Engineering teachers with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively integrate Artificial Intelligence into their Science classrooms. Participants will explore AI technologies, learn how to use AI tools to enhance Engineering, Math, Science and Technology instruction, and create innovative teaching strategies that harness the power of AI to improve student engagement, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
AI for Access & Inclusion: Strategies for Educators
Artificial Intelligence holds unique potential to increase access and inclusion for learners while at the same time supporting educators through the instructional design and delivery process. In this interactive workshops, educators will explore practical strategies and tools to leverage AI to streamline the creation and delivery of accessible, equitable and inclusive learning experiences to students!
Through demonstrations and hands-on experiences, we will gain an understanding of how AI can be used as a pedagogical tool to support differentiation, to leverage assistive technologies, and provide space for the creative expression of all students. Educators will leave with ideas and resources to bring AI-powered accessibility and inclusion back to their very own classrooms.
Leadership & Administration of AI
In this workshops, education leaders will learn how to use new AI tools and strategies to enhance their leadership abilities. Participants will explore various ways that AI can help with day-to-day tasks and challenges as well as long-term projects & goals. Administrators will learn to automate routine tasks like scheduling, attendance tracking, and data analysis, freeing up time for more strategic planning and decision-making.
